Strike Aviation becomes GSSA for Fly Khiva in Europe
The airline, founded in Khiva, Uzbekistan, operates Boeing 767 freighter flights.
Strike Aviation has announced that it is representing Fly Khiva across several European countries.
“This partnership marks a significant step forward in expanding our reach and offering enhanced air cargo services to Central Asia,” says Strike Aviation.
Founded in Switzerland in 1997, Strike Aviation is a General Sales & Service Agent (GSSA) operating in 25 countries worldwide.
Fly Khiva is a dedicated air cargo carrier, operating Boeing 767 freighter flights from Liège Airport (LGG) and Riga Airport (RIX) to key destinations in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, while also extending its services to Saigon (SGN).
The airline was founded in Khiva, Uzbekistan, in 2021 with the goal of developing passenger, cargo, and business aviation, and operating both domestic and international flights. In its early stages, Fly Khiva Group entered the passenger transportation market as a charter flight customer and ticket sales agency.
Currently, the airline operates one Boeing 767 freighter in its fleet, according to data available from Planespotters.net.
Fly Khiva obtained the operator's certificate on 23 February 2024 and began its operational activities as an airline. The airline has also signed a contract with Azerbaijan's flag carrier, Azerbaijan Airlines, becoming its general agent in Uzbekistan.
