Silk Way West Airlines joins COP29 as global air cargo partner

Silk Way West Airlines, the leading cargo airline in the Caspian and Central Asian region, will be the global air cargo partner for COP29, which will take place in Baku in November 2024.
The partnership emphasises the airline’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change while also being in line with Azerbaijan’s declaration of 2024 as the Year of Solidarity for a Green World, says an official release from Silk Way.

Silk Way West Airlines' sustainability strategy will see the introduction of eight state-of-the-art aircraft by 2030 including four Boeing 777F, two Boeing 777-8F and two Airbus A350F, the release added.
