M2 Transport flies over 900 pigs from Ohio to the Philippines

Moving more than 900 pigs by air is far more than a routine cargo operation. It requires months of planning, close coordination and strict attention to animal welfare. M2 Transport recently demonstrated this once again by transporting more than 900 pigs from Rickenbacker International Airport in Ohio to Cebu, Philippines, marking another large-scale international livestock movement for the company.

The shipment departed under favourable weather conditions and was handled with support from Atlas Air, the teams at Rickenbacker International Airport, M2 Transport personnel and dedicated farm staff. Every stage of the operation, from preparing the animals for transport to loading and departure, relied on careful coordination to ensure the pigs travelled safely and comfortably.

Sean Nix, Vice President, Live Animals at M2 Transport, highlighted the teamwork behind the operation.
