LODD to export UAE-built Hili autonomous aircraft to Asia
Abu Dhabi-based LODD signs pact with ST Engineering to take its Hili autonomous aircraft into Asia-Pacific markets.

Abu Dhabi-based aerospace firm LODD Autonomous has signed a strategic collaboration with ST Engineering to export its Hili autonomous aircraft to countries across the Asia-Pacific region. The agreement was signed by LODD’s Chief Executive Officer Rashid Matar Al Manai and Teong Soo Soon, Senior Vice President and Head of Unmanned Air Systems at ST Engineering.
Under the agreement, the Hili aircraft, designed for autonomous air-cargo operations, will be introduced into key Asian markets in partnership with ST Engineering. The deal reflects confidence in Hili as a scalable and advanced platform for unmanned cargo transport.
LODD Autonomous said the collaboration emphasises the growing global appeal of its technology and underscores the United Arab Emirates’ expanding role in exporting next-generation aviation systems. Hili was developed and engineered in the UAE and is intended to support autonomous air-cargo operations at international scale.
The company, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, focuses on designing and deploying autonomous aerospace systems to improve cargo logistics. Hili, its flagship unmanned aerial vehicle, is capable of transporting substantial cargo over extended distances, supporting a range of logistics needs in diverse markets.
