Charlotte Elpers will assume the role of Vice President, Worldwide Operations at KLM Cargo, succeeding Koen Bolster.

As VP, Worldwide Operations, Elpers will oversee KLM’s global cargo operations, bringing nearly two decades of leadership experience within the KLM Group to the position, says an official release.

"Bolster will transition to his new role as Executive Vice President, Hub Operations at KLM on February 1, 2025."

Elpers has been with the KLM Group for 19 years, and her career includes the current position as VP, Passenger Services at KLM’s Schiphol hub, the release added.

Adriaan den Heijer, EVP Cargo, Air France-KLM says: “I would like to express my gratitude to Koen Bolster for his outstanding contribution to KLM Cargo over many years. Koen successfully led our global cargo operations through one of the most challenging periods in KLM’s history, including the Covid-19 pandemic. His drive, enthusiasm and authenticity have been pivotal in shaping the KLM Cargo organisation and its operational strategy.

"In Charlotte Elpers, we have found a worthy successor. With her extensive operational leadership experience and broad background at KLM, she is well-positioned to lead the continued growth and future development of KLM Cargo.”
