Freightos has announced that Jambojet Cargo has joined WebCargo by Freightos’ digital booking platform, enabling freight forwarders to instantly book cargo capacity across Jambojet’s East African network. The move is expected to boost access to reliable and fast digital air cargo services in one of the region’s most active logistics markets.

Freightos, listed on NASDAQ, is a leading global freight booking and payment platform for the international freight industry. With this integration, WebCargo’s network now gains digital access to nine key routes operated by Jambojet Cargo. The regional carrier connects Nairobi with major economic centres including Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Malindi, Diani, Lamu and Zanzibar. The airline also expects to support interlining agreements in future.

Jambojet Cargo transports diverse shipments such as fresh produce, pharmaceuticals and e-commerce goods. The digital connection is set to improve visibility, reduce manual coordination and offer freight forwarders faster booking and management of shipments.

Freightos processes an annualised run rate of more than 1.6 million transactions on its platform. Zvi Schreiber, CEO of Freightos, said the partnership expands WebCargo’s reach while supporting smoother and more efficient global trade by making capacity more accessible.

Karanja Ndegwa, Managing Director and CEO at Jambojet, said digitalisation is transforming air cargo across Africa, and joining WebCargo by Freightos will support customers with a modern booking experience. He added that future interlining through the platform will help strengthen market connectivity within Africa and globally.
