ITA Airways extends ULD management deal with Jettainer

Jettainer will continue to provide ITA Airways with its unit load device (ULD) management services for an extended period. Jettainer provides a customised fleet of more than 4,000 containers and pallets to ITA Airways, according to an official release.

This approach provides the greatest possible transparency and visibility within the process of ULD use, maximises ULD utilisation rates and avoids empty positioning runs, reducing costs and CO2 emissions. ITA Airways also benefits from reliability and flexibility in ULD supply, supporting their continued growth trajectory. The Italian airline serves a growing network of destinations in Europe, Africa, North, Central and South America and Asia via its hub in Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate airport."
