IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG) is expanding its IT and digital team by over 60 positions, doubling the size of its global team.

This expansion reflects IAG Cargo's dedication to becoming a more agile, innovative, and customer-centric enterprise. By bolstering its IT and digital team, the company aims to enhance efficiency and embrace new technologies, ensuring its ability to adapt effectively in an ever-evolving business environment, says the official release.

IAG Cargo already employs a range of digital technologies and tools to streamline operations. For instance, its recent upgrades and integrations of bespoke IT systems at the new cargo handling facility in London Heathrow optimise the movement and allocation of freight within the premises. This state-of-the-art technology enhances efficiency, making IAG Cargo more intelligent and responsive, ultimately enabling the company to deliver the best customer service.
