Globe Air Cargo Bulgaria completes 20 years
Tania Mlechenkova's leadership has been instrumental in building Globe Air Cargo’s strong market presence.
Globe Air Cargo Bulgaria, a subsidiary of ECS Group, is celebrating its 20th anniversary under the leadership of Managing Director Tania Mlechenkova.
"From the company's first employee in Bulgaria to its guiding force, Mlechenkova's leadership has been instrumental in building and sustaining Globe Air Cargo’s strong market presence," says an official release.
Starting in 2004, Mlechenkova, guided by then Managing Director Heiner Sass, played a pivotal role in launching the company’s business in Bulgaria, the release added. "When Sass retired, Mlechenkova took over the reins and successfully navigated the company through numerous challenges, ensuring continued growth and reliable service."
Mlechenkova says: “One of the biggest challenges was maintaining and building on the trust established with our airline partners. I believe our success lies in the uncompromising service quality we always strive for.”
GAC Bulgaria has become a trusted partner in the air cargo industry, representing major airlines like LOT Polish Airlines, Swiss WordCargo and DHL Aviation for nearly two decades. “As we celebrate 20 years, I can say that this has never been just a job. The service we provide goes far beyond that. My team and I remain committed to the same principles, working with passion and dedication to excellence for the next 20 years," says Mlechenkova.
The 20th anniversary was celebrated at a special event in Sofia on September 19, 2024. To reduce the carbon footprint of traditional goodies, a photo booth was installed for the guests: each photo taken contributed to a €10 donation benefiting the National Math School. As a result, €1,530 will be given to the association, which relies solely on contributions, the release added.
