GEODIS has expanded its global air freight reach by signing a strategic interline agreement with Atlas Air and mas, a move that immediately strengthens its network across South America and boosts connections from Asia. The partnership aims to provide more reliable, efficient logistics solutions for customers worldwide.
Under the agreement, GEODIS will reinforce its air freight presence in Colombia, Brazil, Panama, Chile and Costa Rica. This expansion adds freighter capacity, improves reliability and broadens access for shippers, with Brazil expected to benefit the most as a key market in South America.
The three partners will integrate their operations to enable smooth cargo transfers between their flights. This collaboration is designed to give customers faster, seamless and more dependable delivery options across the global network.
Henri Le Gouis, Executive Vice President, Global Freight Forwarding at GEODIS, said airfreight demand in and out of Central and South America had risen by more than 30 percent in the past year. He noted that the agreement strengthens GEODIS’ commitment to offering a wider, more reliable network with increased capacity. He added that the company continues to anticipate market needs and invest in solutions that support resilience and efficiency across the supply chain.

He stated that Atlas Air is proud to support GEODIS’ expansion by providing expertise and capacity to ensure reliable transfers between Asia and South America.
Robert Van De Weg, CEO of mas, said the agreement demonstrates the power of collaboration. He added that the joint effort with GEODIS and Atlas Air creates a more flexible and dependable air freight network from Asia for customers.
The initiative marks an important step in GEODIS’ long-term investment in South America. It also highlights the company’s broader strategy to expand its network and build innovative solutions that enhance operational performance across the region.
