French Bee has renewed its General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) agreement with Globe Air Cargo Canada for a further three years, extending their partnership and maintaining a direct air cargo corridor between Canada and Paris-Orly Airport.

The renewed agreement covers the Canadian market and continues the long-standing collaboration between French Bee and Globe Air Cargo Canada, strengthening cargo connectivity between North America and Europe.

Under the partnership, French Bee will continue operating the only direct wide-body cargo service between Montreal–Trudeau Airport and Paris-Orly Airport, providing Canadian exporters with a direct gateway to France and onward access to Europe's largest wholesale food market at Rungis, as well as other European destinations.

The route is served by Airbus A350-900 and A350-1000 aircraft, offering flights three times a week during the winter season and daily during the summer. The service provides up to 15 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity while connecting Montreal and Paris in approximately seven hours.

Elena Garduno, Commercial Director of Globe Air Cargo Canada, said, “French Bee’s direct Montreal-Orly service offers a compelling alternative for time and temperature-sensitive cargo, combining modern A350 capacity, reliable operations and fast access to the Paris region and beyond, through a far less congested airport environment. This is currently the best transatlantic air cargo connection to Rungis International Market, and there is great potential for an even stronger market share of perishables, healthcare products and general cargo flows between Canada and Europe.”

Paris-Orly Airport's proximity to the Rungis International Market, the world's largest fresh produce market, makes the route a strategic gateway for Canadian perishables entering France and the wider European market. Key exports include live lobster, snow crab, fresh salmon and seafood, wild mushrooms, fresh berries, specialty fruits and vegetables, and premium Canadian beef.

In addition to perishables, the direct Paris-Orly service supports general cargo, e-commerce, retail shipments and temperature-controlled healthcare products. Customers also benefit from an extensive road feeder network linking Orly to major European hubs, including Amsterdam, Brussels and Luxembourg, as well as onward connections to several French Overseas Territories.

As part of the renewed partnership, Globe Air Cargo Canada will focus on expanding perishables traffic from Canada, promoting French Bee's direct Paris-Orly service and growing healthcare and other high-value, time-sensitive cargo volumes. The introduction of an e-booking platform with dynamic pricing is also planned to provide customers with faster and more flexible booking options.
