Frankfurt Cargo Services appoints Federico Mosqueira
Bringing over 20 years of experience, Mosqueira takes the lead as the new Director of Operations.
In a significant move, Frankfurt Cargo Services (FCS), the cargo handler company at Frankfurt Airport, which is a subsidiary of Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) and Fraport AG, has appointed Federico Mosqueira as its new Director of Operations. Mosqueira took charge on January 1, 2024. He replaced Christoph Cyranek, who filled the role temporarily after Markus Schneefuss in August 2023.
Mosqueira has over 20 years of experience managing the operations of air cargo and supply chain companies. He has previously worked with LATAM Airlines in a variety of roles in Mexico, Central America, and the U.S. He has also worked with Qatar Airways as Manager of Cargo Network Operations based in Doha.
On his appointment as the new Director of Operations, Claus Wagner, Managing Director of Frankfurt Cargo Services said "Federico Mosqueira is an absolute industry expert, has an excellent network, and is already familiar with the Frankfurt location. Having spent 13 years in Germany, Federico Mosqueira, originally from Mexico, is well-versed in Frankfurt due to his past role as Director Handling Operations Europe for LATAM Airlines (Cargo). His recent contributions include being a key figure in the initiation of Amazon AIR in Europe during his time at Amazon.
