The first A350F has completed major assembly milestones and rolled out of the main assembly station, with all major structures, including the fuselage, wings, tail, and landing gear, now joined. It is now heading into systems checks, belly-fairing installation, winglet installation, and additional integration steps.

In a LinkedIn post, Joost van der Heijden, Senior Vice President Marketing, Airbus, announced the development related to the A350F programme.

The October 2025 Airbus orders and deliveries data show the company has 74 A350Fs on order. MNG Airlines confirmed its order for two A350Fs, following a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in June, while Korean Air converted seven of its existing A350-1000 passenger aircraft orders into freighters, bringing the total from 65 in September to 74.

Air China Cargo recently signed a purchase agreement for six A350F aircraft, becoming the first mainland Chinese customer to order Airbus’s all-new freighter.

Airbus is building two A350 freighters for flight testing, with trials planned for 2026 and 2027. The A350F is expected to enter service in the second half of 2027.

The A350F can carry up to 111 tonnes over a range of 8,700 km. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, it offers up to 40% lower fuel consumption and COâ‚‚ emissions compared to previous-generation aircraft.
