Emirates SkyCargo completes first Executive Leadership programme
The second cycle of the programme will commence in April, with a new set of candidates.

The first group of top-performing cargo managers from Emirates SkyCargo has completed the Executive Leadership training programme. The second cycle will commence in April, with a new set of candidates, according to an official release from Emirates SkyCargo.
The course equipped candidates with tools focused on future operations and industry trends, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI), fostering innovation, optimising current operations, and implementing effective sustainability initiatives. These skills will be applied in the graduates' current roles while also supporting both personal and organisational growth, mentions the release.
“Our people are the crux of our success. As an employer of choice, we proudly attract and retain the best talent in the industry, and a large part of this is the access to development opportunities that hone skillsets and elevate personal development. Devised in-house in coordination with Emirates Learning & Talent and HR teams, these programmes advance the skillset within our talent pool, ensuring Emirates SkyCargo is future-fit,” says Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President, Emirates SkyCargo.
Emirates SkyCargo collaborated with AviationNOW, a division of the GrowNOW Group and a member of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA), to create and deliver the training programme. After a series of theoretical and practical sessions held at Emirates Group headquarters in Dubai, each candidate earned a diploma accredited by AviationNOW.
The Group has implemented two Leadership Programmes in partnership with INSEAD, as well as programmes delivered in collaboration with London Business School, Warwick School of Business and Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, the release added.
