ECS Group has announced a new agreement with Thai VietJet and its subsidiary, AVS GSA Thailand. The partnership will see ECS Group provide cargo services on the Bangkok-Mumbai route.

The first shipment under the agreement was transported on January 21, 2025, on the Bangkok to Mumbai route. The partnership will enable Thai VietJet to enhance its cargo offerings and optimise capacity utilisation on its daily flights.

Thai VietJet will use A320/321 passenger aircraft to transport general cargo, spare parts, and e-commerce shipments. Key exports from Mumbai will include pharmaceuticals and garments, with transshipment opportunities via Bangkok to Thai VietJet's route network.
