deugro appoints Steffen Behrens as Chief Commercial Officer
In his new role, he will focus on commercial strategy and global business development.
deugro has appointed Steffen Behrens as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective immediately. Behrens, who has been with deugro since 2017, will continue to serve as both CCO and President - Middle East until September 1, 2025, when he assumes full responsibilities as CCO. The appointment follows deugro’s internal selection process to strengthen its leadership.
He succeeds Dominik Stehle, who now operates as the Managing Director of SAL Heavy Lift.
Behrens has over 20 years of experience in project logistics, having worked in the U.A.E., China, and Germany. He was promoted to President – Middle East in 2022, overseeing regional growth and operations. In his new role, he will focus on commercial strategy and global business development.
Thomas C. Press, Chairman and Co-CEO, stated that Behrens' appointment aligns with deugro’s leadership development strategy. Behrens stated that he looks forward to contributing to the company’s global expansion and strengthening its market position.
