Avianca Cargo unveils new brand focused on customer service
The airline has partnered with Turkish Airlines and launched a new Liège-Miami service.
Avianca Cargo has unveiled a new brand concept, marking a major transformation that underscores its dedication to best service. With the tagline “Avianca Cargo, we are doing it for you,” the rebrand highlights the airline's focus on customer needs and commitment to building long-term partnerships, according to an official release from Avianca Cargo.
"Our transformation has now positioned us as one of the six best cargo airlines of the world," says Diogo Elias, Senior Vice President of Avianca Cargo. "We've enhanced our service levels, upgraded our fleet, and revamped our product offerings, all while ensuring a more consistent and efficient operation. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to meet every requirement and solution our customers seek, enabling them to grow their businesses."
Avianca Cargo closed Q3 2024 with a year-over-year boost in network load factor of over 5%, fueled by Latin America’s cargo import market recovery and recent fleet upgrades.
As part of its investment strategy, Avianca Cargo has expanded its fleet with four A330-300/200 P2F aircraft, enhancing capacity and fuel efficiency. The first aircraft joined its commercial partner AeroUnion in July, with two more scheduled for 2025 and the final one arriving in 2026. These additions offer increased payload and flexibility for medium-range routes. Avianca Cargo has partnered with Turkish Airlines and launched a new Liège-Miami service, enhancing cargo connectivity. This initiative expands access to a global network beyond Miami while increasing capacity for its customers, mentions the official release.
In partnership with climate technology company CHOOOSE, Avianca Cargo has officially launched a real-time platform that enables clients to monitor, track, and offset carbon emissions from cargo transport, supporting environmental projects in Latin America.
Avianca’s recent infrastructure investments at its Miami and Bogotá terminals have expanded peak season capacity by 83% and enhanced turnaround efficiency by 20%, the release added.
The airline states it is the first South American carrier to integrate with DB Schenker, transforming logistics for faster and more dependable cargo services across the continent.
