Amazon launches supply chain services for all businesses
The offering lets firms manage freight, storage and delivery through one platform, using Amazon’s network and technology built over 25 years of operations

Amazon has launched Amazon Supply Chain Services, opening its end-to-end logistics network to businesses, including those that do not sell on Amazon.
The new offering allows companies to use Amazon’s supply chain capabilities across inbound logistics, storage, inventory management and outbound fulfilment. It is designed to help businesses move products from manufacturers to customers through a single, integrated service.
With this launch, Amazon is extending the infrastructure it has built over the past 25 years for its own operations to external businesses. Companies can use the service to transport goods from global suppliers, store inventory in Amazon’s network, and deliver orders to customers.
Amazon said the service uses advanced technology, including machine learning, to help businesses manage inventory more efficiently and maintain product availability. The system is also aimed at reducing costs by optimising stock levels and improving delivery speed.
The company added that businesses can manage their supply chain through a centralised platform, giving them visibility and control over the movement of goods from origin to final delivery.
Amazon Supply Chain Services is positioned as a flexible solution for businesses looking to simplify logistics operations by using a single provider for multiple stages of the supply chain.
