allivate has launched a new digital product called "Easy Transit" to simplify the EU NCTS5 transit procedure at Frankfurt Airport.

The product helps automate the transfer of HS codes and HAWB data. This affects over a quarter of import shipments in Frankfurt.

The EU NCTS5 transit procedure requires participants to declare shipments at the goods item level using the 6-digit HS code. "Easy Transit" eliminates the need for manual entry of additional data.

Users upload AWB numbers to the FAIR@Link system, which compiles the necessary information. The transit procedure is automatically filled in when opened in customs software.

The service is currently available in the DAKOSY customs software ZODIAK. Additional customs providers will be connected via a neutral interface in the next phase.

Two major freight forwarders have already integrated the module and are using it to manage the NCTS5 customs process.

allivate Managing Director Martina Schikorr said, "Users simply upload the AWB numbers from their shipments to the FAIR@Link Cargo Community System. All the necessary information is compiled there. The transit procedure has already been automatically filled in when it is opened in the customs software. Only the information about the driver, truck and seal need to be added."

allivate is a joint venture between Fraport AG and DAKOSY AG, focusing on the digitalisation and automation of air cargo processes.
