Air Partner appoints Oliver Giesen as Head of OBC - Global

Air Partner, a global leading full-service logistics provider, has announced the appointment of Oliver Giesen as Head of OBC - Global.

Giesen’s appointment signifies Air Partner’s investment in the growth of OBC delivery as part of the company’s commitment to enhance its time-critical services, says an official release. "With a vast global footprint and extended network of experts, Air Partner is uniquely positioned to provide first-class services, tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients worldwide."

Giesen will be based in his home country Germany, which is a prominent manufacturing hub in Europe, ideally located for U.S.- and Asia-bound delivery services, the release added.

Reporting to Pierre Van Der Stichele, VP, Global Charter, Giesen will be responsible for identifying opportunities to drive the growth of Air Partner’s OBC division, focusing on aerospace, automotive, fashion and pharmaceutical industries.

“There are huge untapped opportunities for OBC services to fulfil, from high net-worth individuals and fashion houses to financial institutions and car manufacturers," says Stichele.
