Air Canada Cargo expands cargo network to Europe and Atlantic Canada

The new route will begin service to Halifax, Madrid, and Cologne on April 19 and May 1.

These new flights will complement Air Canada Cargo's existing cargo service to Latin American destinations

Air Canada Cargo will extend its cargo network, beginning with service to Halifax on April 19. In addition, the second Boeing 767-300ER freighter will enter service in May, allowing Air Canada Cargo to establish cargo service to Frankfurt, Cologne, Istanbul, Madrid, and St. John's.

"The entry into service of our second freighter is yet another exciting milestone in the growth of our freighter network and provides more options and services to the cargo community" says Matthieu Casey, Managing Director, Commercial – Cargo.

These new flights will complement Air Canada Cargo's existing cargo service to Latin American destinations, which includes:

Starting April 19, Atlantic Canada will operate five flights per week from Toronto to Halifax to St. John's, increasing to six flights per week on May 1.

Beginning in May, there will be two weekly flights to Frankfurt, three weekly flights to Madrid, and one weekly flight to Cologne and Istanbul from Toronto.
