Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP) has introduced a new weekly Boeing 747-400 freighter service, operated by Martinair. This service will link Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) with Dubai World Central (DWC) and return, according to an official release by AFKLMP.

The service commenced on July 1, 2024, operating from AMS to DWC with a stopover at Cairo International Airport (CAI) before returning directly to AMS from DWC. The Boeing 747 freighter, capable of carrying up to 110 tonnes of cargo, provides a solid and reliable option for transporting goods to Europe. Operating from DWC, near Jebel Ali ports, this new service offers efficient sea/air combinations, delivering flexible and cost-effective logistics solutions that optimise supply chain operations, the release mentions.

AFKLMP recently signed a new block space agreement with China Cargo Airlines, this will enable China Cargo Airlines to utilise Air France's belly capacity for shipments from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to São Paulo Guarulhos Airport.
