Aerotranscargo, GMF and AIR ONE sign MoU for 747 freighter fleet

Tripartite agreement outlines maintenance cooperation to support airworthiness of Boeing 747 freighters across regions.

Aerotranscargo FZE, PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) and AIR ONE Technics have entered into a strategic maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) partnership for Boeing 747 freighters, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in Dubai on 5 February 2026. The agreement outlines cooperation on Boeing 747 freighter maintenance during 2026 and 2027.

Under the MoU, the three companies will collaborate by combining GMF’s global MRO capabilities, Aerotranscargo FZE’s worldwide widebody freighter operations and AIR ONE Technics’ technical expertise based at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai. The partnership aims to support the continued airworthiness and operational reliability of Aerotranscargo FZE’s Boeing 747 fleet and strengthen technical cooperation across Indonesia, the Middle East and Europe.

The MoU was signed by Guneet Mirchandani, Chairman of Aerotranscargo FZE, Andi Fahrurrozi, Chief Executive Officer of GMF, and Ayrat Gilmutdinov, Chief Executive Officer of AIR ONE Technics.

Aerotranscargo FZE and AIR ONE Technics are subsidiaries of AIR ONE International Holdings, a global network of cargo airlines and aviation companies providing airfreight capacity through long-term charters, ACMI solutions and scheduled services. AIR ONE Technics is a UAE-based line maintenance and airworthiness management services provider supporting Aerotranscargo FZE’s fleet of eleven Boeing 747-400 freighters and two Boeing 777 freighters. The company is located at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, Dubai South, and is expanding its operations to support Boeing 747 and 777 freighters across the UAE, Europe and Asia.
