Aerios has launched a new Commercial Pricing Insights module that integrates live aggregated rate and capacity data from CargoAi, bringing real-time commercial market visibility directly into the air cargo charter quoting process.

The new integration allows charter carriers to access wider commercial market data while preparing quotes, helping them improve pricing accuracy and optimise revenue. The module is available within the Carrier App quote builder and provides market context at the point of quotation.

Charter carriers often have limited access to live commercial data during the quotation phase. They typically rely on static or outdated data sources, or informal market knowledge. In larger organisations, charter sales teams usually operate separately from general airfreight sales teams. As a result, charter teams may not have access to live airfreight rates or up-to-date information on which routes are currently served by airfreight and how frequently they operate. This can lead to quotes being prepared without full market visibility, resulting in inaccurate pricing, lost business opportunities and missed revenue.

The Commercial Pricing Insights module addresses this gap by surfacing real-time airfreight market rate insights directly within the quoting workflow. Once a route is created in the system, users can see how their quote compares with broader market trends without switching between tools. The module displays aggregated current market rate insights, along with historic and forecasted trends. It also highlights whether a route is actively served by airfreight and indicates its frequency.

Through the integration, users can access anonymised current and forecasted airfreight rates. This enables them to gain market insight without revealing individual airlines’ or competitors’ pricing strategies.

Matt Petot, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at CargoAi, said the partnership reflects a growing number of industry players using live aggregated data in their processes. He said that real-time visibility into rate trends and capacity changes over the coming weeks marks a significant shift for an industry that has long relied on delayed historical data.

By combining live aggregated rate insights with capacity trends inside the charter workflow, the new module provides carriers with a clearer understanding of their market position and supports more competitive and confident pricing decisions.
