ABX Air to operate B767 freighter for Global Aviation Link
Global Aviation Link will expand its regional air freight network with an ATSG-operated Boeing 767-300 freighter under a long-term ACMI agreement.
Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) has announced that its subsidiary ABX Air has entered into a long-term agreement with Miami-based Global Aviation Link to operate a Boeing 767-300 freighter.
Under the agreement, ABX Air will provide aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) services for the operation.
The deal forms part of ATSG’s evolving Airlines & Services commercial strategy, which aims to expand charter opportunities and provide customers with flexible operating and aviation support solutions across its businesses.
ATSG said the approach is designed to help customers enter new markets, expand networks and respond to changing air cargo capacity requirements.

Global Aviation Link is an air freight specialist with 25 years of experience in commercialising Boeing 767-300 freighters across Central and South America. The company operates scheduled services carrying perishables, pharmaceuticals, aerospace equipment and other time-sensitive cargo.

Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) provides aircraft leasing, air transportation, and aviation support services to customers worldwide. ATSG operates a diverse fleet comprising Boeing 767, Airbus A321 and Airbus A330 freighters, alongside Boeing 777 and 767 passenger aircraft for global ACMI and charter operations.
Established in 2000 and based in Miami, Florida, Global Aviation Link (GAL) connects Central and South America with the US, Europe, and East Asia. The company has operated charter flights between Miami and Bogotá for more than three years, successfully expanding its market presence.
GAL currently operates seven weekly MIA–BOG–MIA frequencies, supported by strong on-time performance and specialised temperature-controlled cargo capabilities.
