The World Food Programme (WFP), in collaboration with Amazon, Airlink and other partners, has supported a humanitarian air operation delivering more than 250 metric tonnes of emergency supplies to communities affected by earthquakes in Venezuela.

The relief shipment included food, shelter kits and medical supplies to support people impacted by the disaster. Amazon provided airlift capacity and logistics support, while Airlink coordinated the transport operation. WFP managed the delivery and distribution of assistance on the ground.

The operation highlights the importance of coordinated logistics and air transport in humanitarian emergencies, enabling essential supplies to reach affected communities quickly and at scale.

The collaboration also demonstrates how partnerships between humanitarian organisations, private-sector companies and government agencies can strengthen emergency response capabilities and improve the speed and efficiency of relief operations.
