Kuehne+Nagel International AG has announced that Eduardo Razuck and Søren Schmidt will join its Management Board. Razuck will assume responsibility for Contract Logistics from 1 October 2025, succeeding Gianfranco Sgro, while Schmidt will take over Road Logistics on 1 May 2026 from Dr Hansjörg Rodi.

Sgro, who has been with the company for more than a decade, will leave to become CEO of a mobility sector company.

Schmidt, a Danish citizen born in 1972, joins Kuehne+Nagel after a 30-year career at DSV A/S, where he spent around ten years as CEO of the Road Logistics division. He will succeed Rodi, who will retire in summer 2026.

Dr Joerg Wolle, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuehne+Nagel International AG, said, “With the appointment of Søren Schmidt, Kuehne+Nagel welcomes an outstanding figure in the logistics industry. At the same time, the appointment of Eduardo Razuck reflects the successful development of strong leadership talent within Kuehne+Nagel. We are confident that they will continue to drive the company’s positive development.”

He added, “On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would already like to extend my sincere thanks to Dr Hansjörg Rodi and Gianfranco Sgro for their many years of dedicated and successful service on the Management Board of Kuehne+Nagel.”

Kuehne+Nagel employs more than 82,000 people at nearly 1,300 sites in close to 100 countries. Headquartered in Switzerland, it is listed in the SMI and holds leading positions in air, sea, road, and contract logistics.
