November 24, 2017: In an unprecedented development, Paris-based leading ground handling service provider, Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) recently grabbed five major cargo handling contracts from various leading passenger and freighter airline operators in France.

According to reports, out of the five cargo handling contracts received by WFS, four major ones encompass Paris CDG and other 11 cargo stations across France.

Interestingly, Vietnam Airlines— the flag carrier of Vietnam extended its cargo handling contract with WFS. Besides, CAL Cargo Airlines has also signed up with WFS to provide receiving points for the cargo to be subsequently trucked to Belgium, and connect with Boeing 747 freighter services ex Liege.

On the other hand, Moldovan Airline FlyONE signed up WFS to manage its weekly freight service across France that is carried onboard Airbus A319/320 flights to Chisinau International Airport, and from the Italian carrier Meridiana.

Additionally, Air France also picked WFS as its preferred cargo handling partner for three airports in France—Lyon, Toulouse and Nantes.

Stephane Scholving, Director (Cargo Sales Europe) of WFS said: “The five contracts exemplify the size and diversity of our cargo operations across France. We are full of pride for to have a strong business relationship with Air France and for being a preferred handling partner of all-cargo and passenger airlines from Vietnam, Israel, Moldova and Italy.”
