Oct 31, 2018: Turkish Cargo has initiated cargo flights to Bangalore, the capital of the state of Karnataka and the third largest and crowded city in India. The route is operated with Airbus 330-200F freighters.

With this service, the cargo carrier aims to connect Bangalore, having a high annual export potential of 170 thousand tonnes, to its destinations across the Middle East.

Bangalore holds a central position in production of the aerospace industry, IT industry, computer and hi-tech products and referred to as the Silicon Valley thanks to its well-established export market.

The city is distinguished with its exported articles such as pharmaceuticals, perishable goods (fruits and vegetables), electronic, engineering, valuable items and textile products.
