Turkish Cargo launches weekly freighter flights to Brussels

May 04, 2018: Turkish Cargo, the leading cargo transportation company, has added Brussels, the capital city of Belgium as a destination for direct scheduled cargo flights.

The carrier aims to focus on transporting mainly time and temperature sensitive shipments such as drugs and other express products on the route.

In the earlier months, the route will be operated with Airbus A310F cargo freighter on Saturdays.

Belgium, also known as the European Union and the European Capital, is a main production centre for mechanical chemical products, mining and automobile fixtures and is also a major chocolate production center.

Turkish Cargo launched new routes in 2018, expanding its flight network. The new cargo routes include Taipei (Taiwan), Miami (USA), Toronto (Canada), Zaragoza (Spain), Houston (USA), Bogota (Colombia), Liege (Belgium), Muscat (Oman), Mexico City (Mexico), Vilnius (Lithuania) and Brussels (Belgium).

The airline plans to expand its cargo flights network further by the second half of this year with new routes such as Quito (Equator), Karaganda (Kazakhstan), Tokyo (Japan), Navoi (Uzbekistan), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and Misurata (Libya).
