Sep 04, 2018: Turkish Cargo has added Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, and Muscat, the capital of Oman, to its direct cargo flights network.

Kigali stands out with its substantial potential of importation. The city enjoys its position as a substantial exports point for the destination of Johannesburg, the metropolitan city of the South Africa. “It is planned to combine the flights to Kigali with the Entebbe (Uganda) line, and to launch a substantial exports - imports line across the region,” informs the carrier through a statement.

The carrier adds, “Muscat, an important imports market for Turkey, Europe, the Far East and America, has been combined with the flights to the South Asia, resulting in a more effective cargo flight line.”

Both the flights will be operated with an A330-200F freighter. Following launch of these new cargo flights, the number of cargo flight destinations of the Istanbul-based carrier totals to 85.

The route for the above flights are as followed:

Istanbul (IST) - Kigali (KGL) – Entebbe (EBB) - Istanbul (IST)
