TUI adds additional weekly flights to Hurghada from Birmingham Airport

January 13, 2018: TUI%u2014one of UK's largest holiday brands has added additional weekly flights to the popular Egyptian destination of Hurghada for summer 2018, which will be operated out of the Birmingham Airport.

The flight service is expected to commence in May 2018, however it will currently operate twice a week between Monday and Friday.

According to reports, holidaymakers from the Midlands will now have more choice when it comes to booking their holidays to Hurghada with TUI, which added a Friday flight to its summer flying programme.

The decision to add more flights is a part of TUI's plans to offer a broad choice to customers across the UK who can fly from their local airport and stay at the best hotels such as the 5T TUI Magic Life Kalawy.

Besides, TUI will be adding additional flights to Hurghada as residents from in and around the Midlands will have a wide choice of destinations to choose from while booking their holidays this summer with the new route to Podgorica in Montenegro.

Karen Switzer, Director of Aviation Planning of TUI UK & Ireland said: "We are delighted to be expanding our programme from Birmingham Airport for summer 2018. We have added a Friday flight to Hurghada, which offer options to fly twice a week to the Red Sea destination. And with this additional flight customers can now book 10 or 11 night holidays. Overall, we have over 62 routes for customers to choose from while booking their holidays from the Birmingham Airport. Holidaymakers in the Midlands will now have wider access than ever before to our diverse collection of destinations and hotel concepts."
