Colombia, January 30, 2015 (STAT):-LAN CARGO’s Executive Director Colombia Pablo Canales, Commercial VP Álvaro Carril, Senior Commercial Director South America Matías Lagos and Senior Revenue Management Director South America Sergio Herrera, visited the estate of The Elite Flower, one of the company’s key Colombian customers.
LAN CARGO’s executives visited the farm, located outside Bogota, and toured the facilities where Elite grows and prepares flowers for export. They also had the chance to get to know first-hand one of the company’s main social responsibility initiatives: a school for its employees’ children.
During the visit, LAN Cargo contributed to the project by donating a laptop to the school, which was received by Juan Carlos Hannaford, Elite’s General Manager.
“We are proud to have contributed to this great initiative. This demonstrates the concern and commitment that elite feels not only towards its employees and their families, but also towards the social development of the area where it operates,” said pablo canales.
