Silk Way is diamond Sponsor and host airline at Caspian Air Cargo Summit in Baku

October 9, 2017: The seventh international Caspian Air Cargo Summit, largest and most comprehensive aviation event in the region, brings global air cargo market leaders to Baku to discuss the latest trends in the industry especially in CIS/Central Asia region and its growing significance in the worldwide aviation industry.

The international forum runs from 9 till 11 October at the Boulevard Hotel. More than 200 delegates will attend the two day discussions about current trends and forecasts in rapidly changing business environment.

This year’s event has special focus on the oil & gas industry, collaboration in the supply chain, innovation in logistics, and e-commerce. The event offers a platform for interaction to identify new opportunities that will allow the region to compete in global markets.

Silk Way participates in the event as Diamond Sponsor and host airline for the international forum. Recently the footprint of the carrier in main markets has been increased with more than 10 Boeing 747 all freighters operating to more than 40 destinations. During years 2016 and 2017, the airline’s strong partnership with Cargolux, SW Italy and Sky Gates Russia Airlines has enabled Silk Way to make a quantum leap in their own development.
