January 8, 2018: RIOgaleo Cargo, the logistics arm of concession-holder RIOgaleo - Aeroporto Internacional Tom Jobim closed the year of 2017 with another operation in the pharmaceutical segment, meeting the demand of a new customer that changed its flow of cargo to Rio de Janeiro.
This new achievement also reflects a great work of the commercial and operational team of RIOgaleo Cargo terminal, which constantly invests in infrastructure improvements and cold chain service.
Vaccine loading, which originated in Italy, traveled in five ULD active containers containing 24 PEB pallets (storage at 2 C to 8 C), tallying almost 4.5 tonnes in weight. The cargo was spawned and stored in its refrigerated stacker crane, with high performance of the operating agents of RIOgaleo Cargo.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of pharmacists and the follow-up of the client's team, from the arrival of the shipment until its release by the air-conditioned docks.
