Rhenus acquires Canada’s Rodair Group

March 19, 2019: This month, logistics specialist the Rhenus Group acquired the Toronto-headquartered customized logistics solutions provider Rodair. Beside their headquarters in Toronto, Rodair has business sites in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.

The acquisition deal is subject to approval by the relevant authorities.

Founded in 1996, the core business activities at Rodair involve international freight forwarding, project logistics, courier, warehousing and distribution, 3PL services, and e-commerce solutions.

With this acquisition, Rhenus established its own network in Canada. Also, with this deal, it will be able to provide customs clearance service with dedicated in-house teams in Toronto and Vancouver.

Rodair's customers mainly come from the fashion, retail, automotive, pharmaceutical and mining industries, which are defined as key market verticals.
