Rafet Alper Özen, who has previously held several management positions with Turkish Airlines, will join the executive management of SunExpress Deutschland as deputy managing director. He will be based in Frankfurt am Main. SunExpress is a joint venture between Deutsche Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines.

After graduating from Uluda? University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Econometrics, Özen began his professional career by starting at Turkish Airlines in the sales and marketing department in 2008.
Özen has worked in management positions for Turkish Airlines in Istanbul, the United Kingdom, the Maldives and Dubai and was vice president Sales Africa from 2014 to 2015.
From 2015 to the present, he was vice president Sales Southern Europe, managed 27 destinations in Greece, Malta, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.
