Jun 02, 2017: Australia’s Qantas Airways and Jetstar, the Qantas Group's low fares airline, have entered into a long term Component Pooling Services Agreement with AFI KLM E&M to support their fleet of Boeing 787s. This brings the total number of 787 customer airlines contracted by AFI KLM E&M to fifteen. The contract covers pool access and repairs and applies to a total fleet of eight 787-9s to be operated by Qantas, and the eleven 787-8s in service with Jetstar.

Qantas is a long-standing AFI KLM E&M client, with component support agreements in place for its fleet of Airbus A330s and, via AFI KLM E&M's Spairliners joint venture for its fleet of A380s.
