FEB 18, 2015: PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) has announced the redelivery of its third 737-300F (MSN27518) to CDI Cargo Airlines (CDI).
All three PEMCO freighter conversions to date have been performed at STAECO’s Jinan Shandong China facility. PEMCO and STAECO have partnered on about 50 Boeing 737-300 and 737-400 freighter modification projects since 2006.
“Operating in one of the fastest growing air freight markets in the world, CDI Cargo is bringing high quality narrow body freighter service to a capacity-constrained Chinese market that can really use it,” said Kevin Casey, PEMCO President. “We are honored to be selected for this strategic expansion of their business and pleased that CDI is reporting exceptional in-service reliability of its PEMCO 737-300 freighters in the demanding PRC operating environment.”
PEMCO’s latest CDI delivery – a 737-300F – offers nine pallet positions (88×125”, 88×108”, 96×125”) capable of up to 43,100 lb. of payload and 4600 cubic feet of space of total volume. Like the 60+ customers before them, CDI selected PEMCO’s passenger-to-freighter conversion for its superior cargo door and loading system, unparalleled operating economics and unrivaled two million hours of safe, reliable operations. PEMCO’s B737 freighter conversions are the world’s only 737 conversions designed, built and supported with genuine Boeing data obtained under a full license agreement to outperform and outlast the competition.
