Sept 1, 2017: Panalpina has restarted operations in its Business Unit in Houston on August 31, as of 8:00 a.m. local time. The logistics company’s operations were affected due to the catastrophic flood that Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey caused in Texas.
The company informs, “Our facilities are untouched, dry, and with power. We are extremely grateful that all of our associates remained safe during this difficult time and have set an internal donation web page to support both our community and our colleagues in distress.
The company adds, “We look forward to the full recovery in Texas and Louisiana.”
