Oman Air appoints new Chief Sales Officer

Oman, September 15, 2014 (STAT):-Oman Air has appointed Mahfood Ali Saleem Al Harthy to the new position of Chief Officer, Sales. Based at Oman Air’s headquarters in Muscat, Mr Al Harthy will report to Chief Operating Officer Abdulrahman Al Busaidy.

Mahfood Al Harthy, an Omani citizen, joins Oman Air from Etihad Airways, where he held the position of General Manager – Oman, prior to which he was Managing Director of AFKAR Enterprises & Investment Co. LLC for three years.

Mr Al Harthy’s airline experience is extensive and he spent 18 years, between 1991 and 2009, working in a range of senior sales and managerial roles around the world for Gulf Air.
