Sep 26, 2018: Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA), a Japan-headquartered airline, will resume its transpacific freighter service between Narita and Chicago (via Anchorage) on September 28, 2018.

The airline started resuming services a few weeks later following the grounding of all the aircraft in its fleet in June this year. The airline has already resumed services between Narita and Shanghai, and between Narita and Hong Kong.

“The rest of the aircraft operation will resume in sequence as soon as the aircraft safety is confirmed and the preparation for flight is completed,” informed NCA through a statement.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern that we caused our customers. We will do our utmost effort to check safety for resuming operation as quickly as possible,” added NCA.
