Myriam Ziesack to take over as Head of Communications in Asia/Pacific for Lufthansa Group

Singapore, August 25, 2014 (STAT):-Myriam Ziesack, Swiss’ press spokesperson in Zurich will take on the position of head of group communications ‘Asia/Pacific’.

Barbara Schädler, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Lufthansa Group Communications, said: ‘By having a local press officer in Singapore, we will be closer to the important target groups and media. This will allow us to manage them more closely in line with their needs. I am very glad that we have been able to find someone this capable and experienced from within our Group in Myriam Ziesack for this exciting and challenging task.’

The Lufthansa Group is filling this important international position in Media Relations from its own ranks. The Swiss native Myriam Ziesack (39), currently a press spokesperson at the Group subsidiary Swiss International Air Lines in Zurich, will transfer to Singapore and work from mid-October as Head of Group Communications Asia/Pacific. In this position, she will manage the Group’s media work in Asia. She has many years of experience in communications, both from a corporate and agency perspective, as well as a Master’s degree in Communications Management and Leadership.
