Magma Aviation delivered vintage Fire truck from the USA to Germany
Having travelled to the dealer to view the fire truck, the buyer made the decision to go ahead and buy it then and there. It was then moved by truck to Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) and from there it flew to Frankfurt – Hahn Airport (HHN).
A vintage Ford 1938 Model A fire truck from Chicago, USA flew across the Atlantic onto a Magma Aviation B747-400B aircraft. The fire truck was purchased by a collector who acquired it from a Ford dealer located in Chicago.
Having travelled to the dealer to view the fire truck, the buyer made the decision to go ahead and buy it then and there. It was then moved by truck to Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) and from there it flew to Frankfurt - Hahn Airport (HHN).
Once it arrived at Frankfurt airport, it had to go through customs where it was cleared. The fire engine then continued its journey by truck to Hamburg where it forms part of the owner's vintage car collection.
“Magma Aviation is expert at transporting cargo of all shapes and sizes and even transport animals. A vintage fire truck was unusual but by no means a problem – it was an absolute pleasure,” says the official release.
