Lufthansa Cargo takes delivery of sixth B777 freighter

Feb 20, 2019: Lufthansa Cargo has taken delivery of a brand new Boeing 777 freighter, registered as D-ALFF.
The freighter, that arrived from Everett, Washington, USA, landed at Frankfurt Airport.
The German carrier informs that its sixth Boeing 777F will soon start scheduled operations.
Harald Gloy, chief operations officer and member of the Board of Lufthansa Cargo said: "This aircraft is the quietest and most efficient in its class."
Lufthansa Cargo has ordered a further brand-new Boeing 777F, which is expected to be delivered in spring. Later this year, two MD-11F aircraft will go out of service.
Lufthansa Cargo will then operate seven Boeing 777F and ten MD-11F aircraft. The fleet modernisation is due to be completed by 2025 at the latest.
