[one_fourth][/one_fourth]OCT 9, 2015: LATAM Airlines Group and its subsidiaries reported its preliminary monthly traffic statistics for September 2015 compared to September 2014.

Cargo traffic continues to be weak during the month of September, especially in Brazil domestic and international markets. As a result, cargo traffic for LATAM Airlines Group decreased 12.5 percent in September, and the cargo load factor decreased 6.6 points to 52.8 percent.

System passenger traffic increased by 2.7 percent while capacity increased by 3.2 percent. As a result, the Company’s load factor for the month decreased 0.5 points to 83.8 percent. International passenger traffic accounted for approximately 54 percent of the month’s total passenger traffic.

Domestic passenger traffic in LATAM Airlines Group’s Spanish speaking operations (Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia) rose 4.3 percent, while capacity increased by 5.4 percent. As a consequence, the domestic passenger load factor decreased 0.8 points to 80.1 percent.

Domestic passenger traffic in Brazil decreased 3.4 percent, while capacity decreased by 5.9. As a consequence, the domestic Brazil passenger load factor increased by 2.2 points to 81.7 percent.

International passenger traffic increased by 5.8 percent, while capacity increased by 8.6 percent. Accordingly, the international passenger load factor for the month decreased 2.3 points to 86.2 percent. International traffic includes international operations of both LAN and TAM on regional and long haul routes.
