Jan 29, 2019: International logistics company JAS Forwarding has signed up to use the online booking platform cargo.one for booking air freight capacities.

The online platform provides JAS Forwarding service teams with real-time access to the freight capacities of several airlines. Their offers for routes can be compared on cargo.one and booked directly with one click at dynamic spot rates. cargo.one thus replaces the time-consuming, manual ad-hoc pricing process with a time-efficient process.

“We tested the cargo.one platform extensively and were always in close contact with the teams on both sides. The joint product development convinced us that the cargo.one software would help us optimize our processes. Booking processes are significantly accelerated and the current spot rates allow us to always offer our customers the best options,” says Gordon Reinke, Airfreight director Germany of JAS Forwarding.

JAS Forwarding and cargo.one use the strong partnership and their complementary expertise to further develop the cargo.one platform and advance future key air freight technologies. The two companies will focus on the digitalisation of air freight pricing, booking and tracking of air freight shipments.

Oliver T Neumann, co-founder of cargo.one said: “The air freight industry is still largely analogous and offers great potential for optimisation and faster processes."
