May 13, 2015:-Jan de Rijk Logistics, a leading provider of transportation and distribution services, reported a total turnover of EUR 184 million in 2014, and an EBIT of EUR 5.7 million compared to an EBIT of EUR 3.3 million in 2013.
An extended customer portfolio with diverse activities, cost cutting measures, enhancing intermodal activities helped improve the financial results. The company has added a second train between Italy and the Netherlands. Furthermore Jan de Rijk Logistics has continued to increase its healthcare logistics portfolio, while strengthening its leading position of road feeding services to the air cargo industry.
