December 14, 2017: Stamford-based leading commercial aircraft lessor Intrepid Aviation has arranged long-term lease finance for Philippine Airlines, which acquired a new Boeing B777-300ER.
According to reports, the lease was underwritten and arranged by Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB), one of the largest commercial banks in Germany.
“We have continued to branch out our commercial lending relationships, including the addition of new financing structures, including AFIC, and further build our excellent existing relationships,” said Oliver Geldner, senior vice president- corporate Finance of Intrepid Aviation.
“The closing of this lease finance concludes an active and successful financing year for Intrepid in 2017,” said Mike Lungariello, CFO of Intrepid.
“We have continued to diversify our commercial lending relationships, including the addition of new financing structures such as AFIC and build upon our excellent existing relationships,” he said.
