Innovation tops agenda at TIACA Air Cargo Forum 2016

OCT 13, 2015: Innovation will top the agenda at TIACA’s Air Cargo Forum (ACF) in Paris, France next October, with themes including manufacturing trends shaping the industry, sustainable supply chains, and the cargo hub of the future.

A panel of TIACA board members, drawn from across the supply chain, will chair debates on trends from e-business to embracing the cloud, as well as workshops on the impact of new legislation. The program is part of the Air Cargo Forum and Exhibition, TIACA’s biennial showcase event, which next year takes place from the 26th to the 28th of October at the Porte de Versailles in Paris.

Thousands of supply chain decision-makers will visit hundreds of leading air freight companies at the event, the 28th in the show’s history.

“TIACA is the only organization to represent all sectors of the air cargo supply chain and the ACF is a unique opportunity to network and find new business,” said Doug Brittin, secretary general, TIACA.

“Our Forum next year will focus on a vision for our industry, to ensure we build a sustainable and profitable future for everyone in air freight logistics.”

Board members chairing the sessions will include Essa Al-Saleh, president & CEO, Agility Logistics, Sebastiaan Scholte, CEO, Jan de Rijk Logistics, Sanjiv Edward, head of cargo business, Delhi International Airport, Vladimir Zubkov, vice president, Volga-Dnepr Airlines, John DeBenedette, managing director, Worldwide Information Network (WIN), and Brittin.
